What data we collect
We collect data you provide when you register (name, email, address), when you list or purchase (listing details, order history), and automatically when you use the platform (IP address, device information, usage data via analytics).
Why we collect it
We use your data to operate the marketplace, process payments, resolve disputes, send order notifications, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Lawful basis under UK GDPR
We process your data on the basis of contractual necessity (to fulfil orders), legitimate interests (platform security, fraud prevention, analytics), and, where required, your consent (marketing emails).
Third parties
We share data with Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), and Crisp (live chat support). Each of these processors operates under their own data processing agreements and UK/EU GDPR commitments.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@stipple.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Retention
We retain account and order data for up to 7 years to comply with UK financial regulations. You may request deletion of marketing data at any time.
